LOS NINOS EN SU CASA
MAMA MIRABELLE'S HOME MOVIES
This series, set against a backdrop of the African savanna, uses wildlife movies to show preschoolers how similar and different their own lives and behaviors are to those in the animal kingdom. Voice of Vanessa Williams as Mama. National Geographic footage and animation, co-produced with the BBC. In each episode the animals gather around the maternal Mama Mirabelle to watch home videos of themselves and other amazing creatures of the natural world. Whatever the young animals want to know — whether it’s why they need to sleep at night, or why they can’t go to the watering hole by themselves, or when it’s OK to trumpet at full blast — Mama helps them find answers by showing them footage from the amazing collection of wildlife movies she has gathered along her travels.

When there is trouble in the big city, this super heroine-in-disguise uses vocabulary to defeat outlaws bent on “WORD” domination. With the help of her faithful monkey sidekick, Captain Huggy Face, WordGirl spends each episode defeating a quirky cast of misfit bad guys and gals with her uncanny vocabulary skills and superhero strength. The series goal is to expand kids’ vocabulary by exposing 6-8 years olds to new words in a context they’ll find fun and inviting – a superhero comedy.

WORD WORLD
A literacy-based animated pre-school series, where fun-loving WordFriends, who are characters first and words second, morph into life when letters are placed together to form a word and go on “word play” adventures. The show makes preparing to read so much fun that kids will laugh out loud as they learn. “WordWorld” playfully brings words to life through a patent-pending methodology that embeds words into the objects they represent. It’s an idea so simple yet powerful that parents can’t help but ask: “Why didn’t I think of that?” In each episode, children will join the ensemble cast of WordFriends™ - Dog, Sheep, Frog, Duck, Pig and Ant - as they explore their world of words. “WordWorld’s” humorous storylines focus on age-appropriate social-emotional lessons while introducing preschoolers to key literacy-based skills, such as letter recognition and phonological awareness.
