Answering phones during fund drives is a great way to support KLRU, Austin's PBS! Each night we are live from the studio we enjoy working with groups of 10-15 volunteers. Food is provided, and volunteers enjoy meeting some of our staff, getting an inside peek at the studio, and getting a taste of what it's like to be on camera. Corporate groups are welcome too.

Every year, KLRU invites Austin to a world-class gala to celebrate the PBS station and its programming. The Block Party is a great way for volunteers to get involved with the station and participate in this Austin City Limits-style event. KLRU needs volunteers during the day of to help set up for the event, as well as, evening volunteers to help provide guest services.

Throughout the year KLRU produces member events and Kid's Club parties. We always welcome volunteers who want to help us the day of these events. KLRU events are a great way to help KLRU connect to our community, and is a great way to get a look inside the station and meet other KLRU members.
