SXSW Presents, the popular film series, brought to you by the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival, KLRU-TV, and The Austin Chronicle,features films that have been widely acclaimed, screened at international festivals, and won a variety of awards. SXSW works with Austin-based Beef & Pie Productions to produce the series, which includes interviews with film experts and festival filmmakers, in order to offer a film festival experience, in the comfort of your living room.
About the Host
Matt Dentler is the Producer of the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference & Festival in Austin, TX.
He oversees the daily operations of programming and coordination for the annual film festival and panels.
He's also a programmer for Austin's annual Fantastic Fest, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Austin FIlm Society. Dentler has been a guest speaker for the Cannes Market, the IFP Market, the National Endowment for the Arts, the International Film Festival Summit, the BritDoc Festival, AFI Fest, the Florida Film Festival, and more.
