Q Night at the Movies presents the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical film The King and I, winner of five Oscars, including a win for Yul Brynner. On Story The Original Disney Princess: A Conversation With Linda Woolverton at 7:30 p.m. Linda Woolverton, the first woman to write an animated feature for Disney, talks about her work, including Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent.

Feature Film The King and I at 8 p.m. In this film adaptation of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, widowed Welsh mother Anna Loenowens (Deborah Kerr) becomes a governess and English tutor to the wives and many children of the stubborn King Mongkut of Siam (Yul Brynner). Anna and the king have a clash of personalities as she works to teach the royal family about the English language, customs and etiquette, and rushes to prepare a party for a group of European diplomats who must change their opinions about the king.
